IISP Accredits Cyber Incident Planning and Response Training from Cyber Management Alliance
The IISP has accredited Cyber Management Alliance's Cyber Incident Planning and Response (CIPR) training course.
The CIPR course is designed to teach strategic and operational management best practices to respond to a cyber attack or a data breach. It provides senior management and incident response teams with the vital processes, knowledge and skills to lead and manage a cyber crisis. This includes coordinating the right stakeholders to invoke quick decision making that protects brand value and orchestrating people, processes and technologies across the organisation.
Cyber Management Alliance provides specialised cybersecurity training to business executives and senior management. “Our aim is to reduce organisational risk exposure to cyber threats by bringing together the best qualities of thought leadership and operational mastery of cyber security management,” said Amar Singh, Cyber Management Alliance founder, CEO and global CISO. Organisations that have already attended the CIPR course include UK, Belgium and Czech police forces, Switzerland National Bank, Microsoft, Adobe, Sony, UBS, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Standard Chartered Bank, Emirates Airlines, Fujitsu and Ernst & Young
“With the abundance of cybersecurity training courses on offer, it can be difficult for organisations to identify competent knowledgeable trainers and good quality, effective courses,” said Amanda Finch, general manager at IISP. “IISP accreditation demonstrates that the course has been independently assessed against the IISP Skills Framework and meets the high standards demanded by the accreditation process.”
