Beneks Val told TUKO.co.ke that the order was part of a collective effort by a group of Kenyans abroad to gift their parents with money bouquets worth KSh 10,000 each.
“I had previously made a money bouquet for one of them, and she referred me to her friends who also wanted to surprise their parents. In total, 30 parents were to be gifted and my client sent me the KSh 300,000,” she said.
The young entrepreneur said she created 30 bouquets, each worth KSh 10,000, which were presented to the parents after a special lunch.

She explained that it took her two full days to make the bouquets, working alongside a trusted friend and business partner.
“I’ve not yet found anyone else I can fully trust with this job because we handle people’s money. The only person I trust is the guy I currently work with — he’s been doing an excellent job, and we've never received any complaints,” she shared.
When did Beneks Val start money bouquet business?
Beneks, a graduating student from the University of Eldoret, noted that she launched her business in August 2024, and it has since attracted a growing number of clients.
She said money bouquets are her main hustle, but she also offers other surprise-related services and runs errands for clients at a fee.
“I’ve made lots of bouquets. On Mother’s Day, I had roughly 35 orders; Valentine’s Day brought in 34 orders, and for Father’s Day, I had 20. I’m also currently helping a mum who’s returning from abroad surprise her children. The business has been good to me,” she said.
The entrepreneur revealed that 90% of her clients are Kenyans based abroad, including in the USA, UK, and Australia.
She expressed pride in having built a thriving business before even graduating from university.
“I just completed my studies in January and I’m waiting to graduate. I studied hospitality, but I may focus more on the business than on what I studied,” she added.
