Global Protests Condemn Israeli Crimes, Express Solidarity with Iran, Palestine

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Mass demonstrations erupted across cities in Brazil, Europe, and the United States, as protesters denounced the Israeli regime’s brutal aggression against Gaza and voiced support for Iran’s resistance stance.

Thousands of demonstrators filled Praça Roosevelt Square in São Paulo, Brazil, on Sunday to condemn Israel’s relentless bombardment of the Gaza Strip.

Chanting against Israeli genocide in Gaza, protesters demanded an immediate end to the Israeli regime’s attacks on civilians.

They also called for Brazil to sever all diplomatic ties with Tel Aviv.

Among the participants were Brazilian lawmakers, civil society figures, and well-known activist Thiago Ávila.

Ávila, standing before the crowd, declared that “the silence of governments must end, and the Israeli apartheid must be dismantled.”

These rallies coincided with a wave of global demonstrations expressing solidarity with both Palestine and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In London, pro-Palestinian protesters gathered in Parliament Square, waving Iranian flags and chanting “stop bombing Iran.”

Demonstrators urged the British government to halt all arms sales to the Israeli regime and demanded sanctions against Israeli officials.

The Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC), one of the organizing groups, shared footage of large crowds holding posters reading “Don’t attack Iran” alongside the usual “Ceasefire now” banners.

Following Israel’s aggression against Iranian civilians, PSC issued a statement stressing: “As Israel launches major attacks in Iran, the responsibilities on the British government could not be clearer: it must impose a comprehensive arms embargo on Israel and introduce wide-ranging sanctions on Israel and all its government ministers, including (prime minister) Benjamin Netanyahu.”

In France, massive protests in support of Palestine and Iran continued for three consecutive days.

Crowds in Paris marched with Iranian and Palestinian flags, condemning Tel Aviv’s war crimes and Western complicity.

French-Iranian journalist Shahin Hazamy posted footage showing thousands rallying in the French capital.

Hazamy also published an image of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei and shared celebratory videos following Iran’s response to Israeli aggression.

A large demonstration was also held in Berlin, where around 2,000 people gathered for a joint Palestine-Iran solidarity rally.

According to German police, some slogans and symbols were deemed illegal, but no details were given.

German media reported several attacks on journalists during the event by pro-Israel agitators attempting to provoke clashes.

Social media footage suggested that members of the French political party La France Insoumise were seen holding the flag of the Islamic Republic of Iran in solidarity.

Meanwhile, across the Atlantic, the Bronx Anti-War Coalition announced a rally for Monday in New York City’s Times Square titled “Solidarity with Iran.”

The group condemned both Washington’s complicity and Israeli aggression, demanding an end to imperialist policies in West Asia.

As resistance spreads across the world, the voice of the oppressed continues to rise against Israeli crimes, while Iran’s stance has inspired a new wave of global defiance.
