Tolo Veterinary Clinic and Dr. Kim Wolfrum, and her whole team, Grangeville, recently celebrated seeing its 10,000th patient, Baylee Otstot.
Tolo’s Facebook post read, “Baylee is an independent spirit who loves people and lives to chase anything that moves... including her owner’s cats! She enjoys running after balls but isn’t too concerned about bringing them back — classic Baylee style. Around the house, she always has a toy in tow, and while she knows her commands, she follows them only when it suits her. A true queen of selective obedience!
Thank you to all our incredible clients for trusting us with your pets throughout the years. Here’s to the next 10,000!”

Grangeville’s Crafty Hideaway won’t be located on Main Street anymore, but don’t fear, they’re not going far! They are relocating to The Gallery, which is located next to Camas Lanes on North Street.

Red River Hot Springs has had a changing of the guard. The Hale family left and new owners are Paul Brace, Karyn Hart and her daughter, Iris. A lifelong friend, Wayne, will also help out. The new owners come from The Dalles, Ore. Paul’s family was in the hotel business for most of his younger life and Karyn ran a resort in Hood River. Ore. She is also an artist and will be offering art classes. She sold handmade products at their local farmers’ market. Classes will include glass bead and pendant making using a microwave kiln, pottery, soap, and beeswax candles and pine needle baskets. There will be a small gift shop area for her products at the lodge.

According to the International Dairy Foods Association, Gen X’s favorite ice cream flavors in order are vanilla, chocolate, butter pecan, strawberry and mint chocolate chip. Gen Xers are those born in the mid-’1960s – late ’70s.
It’s Breyer’s Natural Vanilla all the way for me!
