A "lovely" New Forest pub has been named among the UK's best spots for a seaside pint.
The Ship Inn, which can be found in Lymington, was featured in an article from the Daily Mail.
The list was pulled together by writer John Sturgis, who has visited more than 3,000 pubs around the nations.
Discussing the reason for creating the article, Sturgis said: "I’m particularly fond of pubs by the sea - on beaches or clifftops, next to harbours or marinas, on estuaries or wharves, where you can combine those two very British recreations of hoping the weather holds and supping a pint."

Why is The Ship Inn among the UK's best for a seaside pint?
The Ship Inn was highlighted for its location near the Solent, making it a picturesque spot to sup a pint.
Sturgis wrote: "With the boat-busy Solent before it, the New Forest behind, and a ferry port nearby, The Ship Inn is a lovely place to stop for a pint on the way to or from the Isle of Wight."
On its website, The Ship Inn describes itself as a "premium pub, bar, and restaurant" which offers "a real country pub experience".
It adds: "Above all, it’s our cracking waterside setting that really sets us apart from other establishments.
"The ultimate destination for a spot of al fresco dining during the summer months, join us for a sun-drenched cocktail whilst you take in the wonderful views of the marina."
Visitors generally seem to agree with this sentiment, as it has earned a 3.7/5 score on Tripadvisor from 2,793 reviews.
One person wrote: "Really enjoyed dinner here last night. The lemon sole was superb and great value. Duo of pork also delicious. Great service from Rylee."
Another shared: "A great little spot down in the harbour with a lovely outdoor decking area for al fresco dining when the weather is good.
"It had a broad menu to cater for all tastes and Trevor was a particularly attentive host."
A third posted: "Sat at the window overlooking the quay, the restaurant had a nice calm feel and the decor was very nice.
"Service was very good and our server Callie was lovely. We shared a pizza and enjoyed it, food coming out to other tables looked good too, we would return if in the area again and would recommend."
The Ship Inn wasn't the only Hampshire pub featured as The Lord Raglan in Emsworth also made it onto the list.
