The Mountain Artists Guild invites art enthusiasts and families to its 72nd annual Mother’s Day Fine Art and Wine Festival, taking place May 10 and 11 at the historic Yavapai County Courthouse Plaza in downtown Prescott. This free, outdoor event runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
This juried festival will feature up to 130 fine artists and artisans from across the Southwest, showcasing works in ceramics, painting, photography, jewelry, sculpture, fiber arts, and more.
Attendees can also enjoy live art demonstrations by painters, potters, weavers, and wood turners. A wine garden, with tickets available through Willcox Wine Country and Experience Arizona Wine, will also be featured.
The festival attracts visitors from the Phoenix metro area, Grand Canyon tourists, and local residents, including retirees and seasonal homeowners. The Mountain Artists Guild, a nonprofit organization founded in 1949, has hosted fine art festivals on the Courthouse Plaza since 1953 and celebrated its 75th anniversary in October 2024.
