DUNN, N.C. — Friday night, Plain and Fancy Salon in Dunn became a victim of burglary, but the robber had a change of heart and decided to bring everything back.

Saturday morning the employees called the salon owner, Bridget Lee, to notify her that someone had broke in overnight. "Well the girls called me. I was still at home," said Lee.

Her stylists found the back door busted in and all of the belongings piled up at the back door. "We assume that the robber must have gotten scared and didn't get away with anything," said Lee.

That's when they found a letter of apology. "As I left your salon on the way home ... I had an epiphany and moment of realization of how hard you work for you and your business, and I prayed to the Lord for forgiveness and guidance, so I returned everything that was taken," the note said.

Over the weekend a salon in Dunn became a victim of burglary. However, the perpetrator had a change of heart and decided to return all of the stolen belongings and leave an apology note.

"They brought 95 percent of the stuff back," said Lee.

"I just feel like this person is down on their luck. They just need a hug, they need someone to give them a second chance," said Lee. Lee wants whoever robbed the store to know she forgives them, and is not planning to press charges.
