Liechtenstein's Bank Frick & Co. AG established a subsidiary The DLT Markets AG to provide institutional investors an independent trading platform with secure access to digital assets like cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin.
DLT Markets will provide institutional investors access to a fully regulated and secure multi-exchange trading of digital tokens and cryptocurrencies.
Clients of DLT Markets can trade cryptocurrencies on various international exchanges by relying on the regulatory environment of a universal bank like trading in the traditional securities market. The platform will also allow investors to trade and manage digital tokens in a regulated environment.
The family-run Bank Frick only recently established a subsidiary called Distributed Ventures AG, which is incubator and accelerator tasked with promoting and financing fintech and blockchain start-ups.
The Bank also supports Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs), provides custody of crypto assets and dealing services in leading cryptocurrencies for Bank Frick clients, and makes crypto assets bankable.
Nearly a year ago, Bank Frick became the first financial institution in Liechtenstein, the sixth-smallest country in the world, to offer the trading of five leading cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC), Ripple (XRP) and Ether (ETH). The investments are made using euros, US dollars and Swiss francs.
